Program – Abloom Film Festival 2026
Abloom Film Festival presents an inclusive and diverse program for children, youth and adults. The festival combines film art, community engagement and accessibility – with a focus on functional diversity, representation, mental health and community.
Film Program
- Main Program: Norwegian and international documentaries, short films, animation and feature films.
- Abloom World Cinema: Global perspectives on diversity and culture.
- Blockbuster Program: Audience favourites with strong inclusive themes.
- Family Screenings: Free and accessible film evenings in Oslo.
- Children's Days: Film, meeting filmmakers and the Abloom Award ceremony.
School and Kindergarten Program
- Adapted screenings with educational activities.
- Program for Oslo, Drammen and Lillestrøm.
- Kindergarten screenings with low sound levels and high visual accessibility.
Children and Youth Jury
Children and young people (aged 7–25) take part in workshops and screenings, and select the “Best Film for Children and Youth” award. The award is presented at the festival’s closing ceremony.
Industry Program and Society
Panel talks, lectures and film screenings aimed at professionals, ambassadors and decision-makers.
Topics include CRPD, autism and representation in film and media.
